Held every 3 months at John Pounds Centre and Hilsea, Badge Fortnight commences today, Monday 9th December 2024, and is a chance for all of us to celebrate our gymnasts' hard work and achievements.
The deadline for enrolling your gymnast in the annual Badge Scheme for this Badge Fortnight has now passed. If you've already bought the Badge Scheme, it covers all four Badge Fortnights throughout the year and will automatically recur annually unless cancelled.
All gymnasts pass their badge due to our inclusive programme, so anyone who has enrolled in the Badge Scheme gets their badge every 3 months, plus an end-of-year completion award once they have completed 12 months of gymnastics.
Badge presentation will be at the beginning or end of your gymnast's normal session and will involve parents being invited into the gym by coaches while gymnasts line up for presentation.
The timings for badge presentation are below. Please note, timings are approximate and may vary by a minute or two from the below. Please be patient with your gymnasts' coaches whilst they organise this:

We are happy for parents to take pictures of their gymnasts with their badges! At John Pounds, we ask you to kindly take a picture in front of the Viva Gymnastics sign on the wall in the gym.
At Hilsea, due to disruption to the site from repairs to the building and roof, parking is limited, so we ask parents to please park considerately and safely.
