These are PARENT/CARER-ACCOMPANIED gymnastics sessions for children age 5-15 years with SEND needs. These camps are a chance for young people with SEND needs to explore our gymnastics equipment in a safe, secure and inclusive gymnastics environment. ~ A fantastic opportunity for fun and fitness ~ Qualified coaches on hand to offer support ~ All staff are safeguarding trained, fully DBS checked, well versed in Makaton and PECs, and have lots of experience, patience, understanding and knowledge ~ Water and squash will be provided throughout the session, as well as snacks and healthy food options ~ Seating area available ~ Disability access toilet ~ Some dedicated parking, with other parking options available nearby We believe every child deserves to experience gymnastics, have fun and meet new friends in an environment where they can be themselves. WHEN: ~ Thursday 23 July @ 12-3pm ~ Thursday 6 August @ 12-3pm ~ Tuesday 11 August @ 12-3pm ~ Tuesday 18 August @ 12-3pm ~ Tuesday 25 August @ 12-3pm HOW MUCH: ~ £30 per child (aged 5-15 years) with SEND needs, including a healthy lunch/dinner. (This session has been subsidised from £35 to £30 per child by Viva Gymnastics Club's "Every Child Matters" initiative. The cost of adult spaces and food has also on this occasion kindly been paid for by Portsmouth City Council via their HAF (Holiday Activities & Food) programme. This funding is not guaranteed for future sessions.)
