Summer Display

Our biannual competition at John Pounds Centre is open to all of our gymnasts. Gymnasts will be able to show off their skills on floor, vault, bars, beam, range and track, with six groups rotating round these pieces of equipment. The main focus of the competition, and where they will be judged, is their floor and vault routines. Gymnasts of all ages will be mixed together, but judging will be done by age category. Every gymnast will receive a participation award, and extra medals (first, second and third place) will be given out for work on the two competition pieces to the floor and vault winners.

We encourage all our gymnasts to participate in this event, as it is a wonderful opportunity for gymnasts and their loved ones to share in the joy of their gymnastics and see all the skills they're learning and progressing towards. This is a fantastic opportunity for gymnasts to grow in confidence. All ages and abilities are welcome, no matter how far into your gymnastics journey you are.

Participating gymnast tickets cost £13 each and include 2 free spectator seats per gymnast. Food, drinks and sweets will be for sale on the day. We will also be running a flash sale on kit on our online shop ahead of the event; please collect your purchases at the event on the day.

Any parents who wish to help pack away equipment, please let us know! John Pounds Centre will be closing at 4pm, so we will need to be out sharpish! More information on the event will be added to the website closer to the time, so please keep an eye on our site, and details will also be emailed to you, so please check your spam/trash folders in case our emails end up in there (marking our emails as coming from a 'safe sender' will help to prevent this).
