Reminder

Earrings, charms necklaces, any sort of jewellery, pins, badges and anklets - PLEASE remove from gymnasts BEFORE they come to sessions.

Even though we have made multiple requests that children do not come to sessions with any of these additional adornments, these items are still being worn and it is actively damaging our equipment.

Today from our air pit, we have pulled several sharp items that have come off children's clothing as well as several pairs of now broken earrings and other assorted broken jewellery.

As you can imagine, our air pits and air tracks, and the rest of our air related equipment, is extremely expensive to replace and repair. It is also taking up a lot of coaches' time at the beginning of sessions to help remove jewellery, and we are going through rolls of micro tape and boxes of plasters every week trying to cover up any adornments that cannot be removed.

If jewellery cannot be removed for religious or cultural reasons, we ask that it be suitably covered up. This is for your gymnasts' protection as well as the protection of our equipment.
